(A shot for my feature in Malaysian Women’s Weekly magazine for September)
Just before this month ends, God decides he wants to squeeze a little more out of me:
I have a Skype date with my pops at 8am tomorrow.. I have no idea how I’m gonna wake up for this!
I’ve been dabbing my face with Shu Uemura’s White Recovery EX+ Instant Spot Brightener, and to my surprise its really started to work its magic!!! I’m so impressed.. its really embarassing what’s under my makeup due to my major breakout and durian appetite 🙁
I shot a mini pilot trailer for a series scheduled to be ready for the “festive” time. (I honestly wouldn’t know when this is since Malaysia has Christmas, Hari Raya, Chinese New Year and Deepavali…)
News: My prayers goes out to our acclaimed Malaysian director Yasmin Ahmad who’s in ICU at the moment. Although I do not know her personally, I do wish her well as her work and contribution to the Malaysian Film Industry has been inspiring and monumental.
The dates are starting to get finalized, I’ll be shooting Joe Flizzow’s music video next month so we’re just confirming the dates!
Most Wanted Ruummate: We the judges have finally come to a decision for the lucky girl and guy who will be winning the title of MOST WANTED RUUMMATE! We went through a grueling 3 hours looking through videos and pictures from each finalist. There were a few disappointments, many arguements and even more opinions about one person to the next but we’re all so glad we got to know 20 great guys and gals for this competition. Remember you were all handpicked and the winner will be a surprise, make sure you come out to the Finale on July 30th at The Loft and cheer for your favourite!
Artistry: Global Art of Mixing is in town and the Ying Yang Twins, Dominique Tsai and Homies will be some of the big names coming to KL!
Had a fabulous meeting with my managers Suraya and Hibat who are helping me pave my career here in Malaysia! Next month is gonna be huge guys!! 🙂
Heading down to Singapore from 26th to 28th for an impromptu meeting! 🙂
I’m trying to catch up on my blogging since I’ve spent a couple nights watching The Proposal and Public Enemies! LOL.. serves me right!
…with all that being said, my pops sent me an inspirational story about how talking to God can be as easy as pretending He were sitting on an empty chair by the bed. Even though I’m starting to get busy and will probably get lost in time, I want to give thanks for these few months and for having a “fruitful” harvest. With God and His love, nothing is impossible.
