Winnie from the Men’s Health team sent me some photos taken a few months ago and I got a few more of the outtakes. The weather in Toronto is getting quite gloomy and because i’m used to 30C weather, I can’t exactly stow away my warm clothes. The wind tunnels and dark clouds got the temperature down to 9C yesterday! Insane right?
So I figured bringing out a few bikini pictures could heat things up a bit! 😉
I just finished my first level of improv at Second City Toronto and will be registering for the next round come June. I’ve had so much fun and the people I’ve met through the program are hilarious and super talented, I hope we get to see each other soon. I’m in a huge rush to learn and absorb as much as I can because the opportunities that are thrown are me are absolutely massive and I don’t want to screw it up!
I also managed to get in a good workshop over the weekend with casting director Gloria Mann. She’s one of a few casting directors working in the city and her advice was incredibly valuable. I’m getting a little more training at Sears/Switzer starting next week and hopefully I’ll be able to make sure my acting gets to the next level with good techniques (they were highly recommended, so we’ll see how it goes).
As for the opportunities, my agent’s been working really hard for me and I want to make it worthwhile by booking every audition but I know that’s not always possible. Some of the auditions I’ve been getting were such a dream to try out for, so I guess the resume in Asia has proven to work to my advantage. 🙂
I must say, this much sitting around is not that comfortable for me. My b always tells me how much I should appreciate the quiet times but I’m such a workaholic. The stakes are getting higher with these jobs and its so important to be available which means waiting around and reflecting is what I mostly do. I’m trying to get a routine going on with exercise, hot yoga, and classes to be disciplined and there’s a couple words to represent me this month – commitment and determination.
I’ll be shooting this coming week for the pilot episode of this web-series that I booked last month. Its been such a blast spending time with some of the cast and the producers. We met up for pho on Ossington and head over to a friend’s place to play Taboo! I couldn’t stop laughing and we’re all really bonding in the best way possible! I can’t wait for our shoot now! Still waiting for the greenlight to announce this project but undoubtedly, it’ll be awesome!
