A few of us Ryerson Fashion Alumni got together for a quick catch-up session. A couple of us haven’t lived in the city for years so this reunion was about 4 year overdue. Like we’ve never missed a beat, we all took turns talking about our love lives, work lives and new aspirations. The girls share how they’ve been watching my career since I left Toronto and its so wonderful to feel the love!
We had Cuban brekky at Delux on Ossington and the food was absolutely scrumptious. The only thing missing was the cigars! (just kidding)
Yesterday after an insane night that ended at 5:30am, us ladies + Sebastian got resos at one of my fav places to eat in Toronto, Brassaii. Although the sun didn’t come out as much as we’d like, we still got to enjoy each other’s company and delight in some of their famous Mimosas!
A couple weeks ago, we had a little dinner at Le Papillion for my gf Jenny who’s spending a couple months in New York this summer for a Canadian retail chain expanding south of the border. It had been awhile since I’ve had delicious French Onion Soup and it was simply delicious.
Other than eating my face off with good food around the city and spending time with my awesome gfs. This week went by a little too slow. They have really been a good source of curing my boredom while waiting for shoot date confirmations and other projects in the pipeline. I gotta get used to this but its hard to just sit back and relax.
Once July hits again, I’m going to take the next level of courses to beef up my training. In the meantime, I think this week will have to be another cruiser cuz my Pops is gonna be visiting and I think i’ll be vegetarian for the week he’s coming. Oooh boy!
