As we all know, every Halloween is a big deal for me.
I’ve accepted it as the only day in the year where I can be truly creative. Nothing’s worse than being caught in the same costume as someone else. I much prefer making and handstitching my pieces together and claim to be as original as I can.
I rarely share my costume ideas and when I do, they never really work out, so it always ends up as a surprise. My first idea this year wasn’t as easy as I thought and it wasn’t worth it either so I’m glad I decided on this one after perusing about 5 different vintage shops to be the perfect Rogue this year.
Diablo I & II were games I used to play all the time before I discovered Photoshop. (Since then, my face has never been the same! Haha)Â In case you’re not geek enough, here are a couple reference photos I used to “inspire” my outfit. Surprisingly enough, there weren’t many photos to go off and I could only use FanArt to help, plus a couple other cosplay outfits.
I celebrated Halloween at the Citrus party in Maison this year with some awesome friends who flew down from Philly! I didn’t bring a camera because my leather satchel wasn’t that big. But I managed to stitch a few photos here and there from the night!
I’m gonna plan a big Halloween bash next year and I better start thinking of good ideas if I want to make it happen!!
